もったい-な-い[勿体無い]《形》
（物の本体を失する意）
1.神仏・貴人に対して不都合である。不届きである。
2.過分のことで畏れ多い。
3.そのものの値打ちが生かされず無駄になるのが惜しい。
 

"Mottainai" is a Japanese term that conveys a sense of regret or remorse for wasting something useful or valuable. It can be translated as "what a waste" or "too good to waste" in English. The concept of "mottainai" encourages mindful and respectful use of resources, promoting the idea of reducing waste and appreciating the value of things. It reflects a cultural attitude of frugality, sustainability, and environmental consciousness.

この活動は、小さいながらも国内外のメディアに取り上げられています。

"Mottainai Session" is a collaboration between various performers (chefs, bakers, filmmakers, musicians, etc.) from all over the world who have the same philosophy of Mottainai as a base line.
This is a project that brings together deliciousness and fun through food in the short term.
